NaturalMotion’s endorphin is the industry’s first Dynamic Motion Synthesis software and is thus in all probability unlike anything you’ve ever come across before. It uses revolutionary AI and biomechanics techniques to not only precisely simulate the physical workings of the human body but to exactly mimic its behaviours too.

At the heart of endorphin are its Adaptive Behaviours, which – unlike animation data – are completely interactive. With Adaptive Behaviours, 3D characters essentially animate themselves. Move two Football players close to each other and one will automatically tackle the other one, realistically trying to grab hold of his legs and bringing him down.

Increased creativity. Because endorphin works in real-time, not only is productivity massively expanded but creativity is boosted as well. Changes can be made later and later in the production process, and collaborative working becomes a real possibility. Interactive Strobe Preview meanwhile gives you faster than real-time pre-simulation, allowing you to see the end results of any changes you make instantly.

Realism. Thanks to the software’s unique Adaptive Behaviours, the animation from endorphin is as good if not better than that produced by keyframed or motion captured data. All the nuances of human motion are included.

Integration. endorphin fits easily into the pipeline like any animation tool. Import character data, create the animation, then export clean animation data either for rendering or into a games engine.
